Bridge of the Gods Freestyle and Gorge Blowout Race

Friday July 25th Bridge of the Gods youth freestyle in Stevenson Washington. Open to all kiters and wingers under 20 years old. Divisions for different ages and different skill levels. We got a lot of prizes! Register on the day of the event or go to https://www.instagram.com/botgkitefestival/

Sunday July 27th is the Gorge Blowout race from Stevenson to Hood River. This is the most fun event in windsports right now. Open to kiters, wingers, parawingers, windsurfers, SUPers, or whatever else you wanna try it on! This year the entire race will be timed by E8 Timing to ensure perfect results! The Blowout does NOT have boat support and we recommend this race only for those that truly have what it takes to travel the 17 miles down the Gorge. Ask any questions you got on here and someone will happily answer them. We have quite a few seasoned vets on the forum. Its not as scary as they make it sound. It's way more fun. Everyone gets put on teams of 4 at random and results are based on how your team does. This helps with safety, fun, launching and a lot more. Registration is in Stevenson on the day of the race at "Kite Beach." Racers will race down to the Marina in Hood River where beer, pizza, awards, and glory await. The backup wind day for either event is Saturday July 26th. Date changes will be made no later then noon Thursday July 24th.
