You could consider rear line trim bars as below the bar:
OR Stick Shift
Duotone Click Bar |

What are the advantages of above the bar trim that seem to have all of the manufacturers switching over?
I know several brands that used to offer both, so I would assume it was a lack of consumer demand that led them to drop the below the bar trim models.
When I tried above the bar trim, I didn't really like the heavy cleat sagging my lines while launching and the trim line flopping around in my field of vision.
Seems like it makes more sense to keep all of that down low?
The click bars do seem like a cleaner alternative - unless/until they break. |

From my own experience, I suspect the answer is that it is really hard to torque the BTB trim when you need it. But maybe I’m just a weakling. |
