How do you delete a forum conversation? While I'm here, any tips on switching to strapless riding? Last edited by happycamper on Mon Jun 15, 20 6:09 pm; edited 1 time in total |

Jon Schlecht is the Tech Rep for Slingshot. He has demos available including the Celero.
You can PM him here on NWKite (Jonpnw) or message him on Facebook.

Jon has a 5'6 demo, I need a 5'. Found a friend riding one today at Rufus, going to ride it tomorrow. Thanks for the info. |

Once a person responds to a forum post - you cannot delete. |

I’m not sure what shape or discipline you’re after, but Slingshot’s Sci Fly is 5’0” and an absolute dream to ride. I demo’ed one from Jon in July and couldn’t get it out of my head after that. I ended up getting one recently and now I split time evenly between that and my beloved TT. Def worth giving the Sci Fly a look |

Yes, just fried with one front sky hook pushed all the way forward. Eventually you won’t use it. But that way you have it when you need it. _________________ Brian Campagna

Agree with Brian, when starting out, a front hook can help, especially getting used to waterstarting a surfboard. In the gorge I found it helpful to stabilize the board bounce in chop, too. Now I'm learning to foil and put the hook back on to help with waterstarting with the foil on. (I call it 'riding with training wheels'). |
