"However we learnt over the time that the Intellectual Property system is designed to smash the independant inventors, so I recently decided to no longer fatten patent offices, lawyers and industrial property consultants, who in parentheses are always winners on your back.

It has a spar extending off the TE to move the CG aft enough to make the kite seek 12 o’clock. It makes torque/leverage between the center of gravity and the center of effort (lift) closer to the LE. With kite at 12, this tends to maintain a positive AOA, with kite to one side or other, it rotates the kite to move up in the window. Seems wacky, but ao did LEI kites in the 1990s when bruno invented them.
It’s similar to something guys sometimes did a while ago ( like 15 years or so maybe) adding small weights to kites’ TE to avoid hindenberging and help drift in surf kiting.
Could work... |

As someone who has their name on a handful of patents I see the patent system as something to protect independent inventors. If some inventors can not get their act together enough to protect their unique and novel invention, that's their failure, not the patent systems. Sure it can become a legal shell game like LEI kites and the associated bars however if you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen. Sharing one's unique and novel ideal with others for free is definitely commendable. Some people need to make a living on their ideas and need to protect them accordingly and thats not a bad thing either. I mean yah, patent lawyers and such are a lot like realtors. Basically Remora sucking off of others hard work. There are ways of dealing with that and making sure that their profit is reduced to the minimum. It all boils down to Caveat Emptor. Although I must say that I do have great respect for those who choose to share their unique and novel IP with everyone free of charge. _________________ Ozone Reo's.
