I've read about switching the wingtip bridle around (front attchment to back and back to front) on a 2007 Waroo for better turning and performance. Has anyone given it a try. I noticed in marginal winds the other day, I was having to really crank on the bar of my 11m to get it to respond nice and fast. - C |

The 07 doesn't turn like the 06 for sure, but overall I think its an improvement. The higher aspect shape and rear pulley bridle probably have the most to do with it.
One thing I noticed is the kite turns very fast when its powered and you really yank on it. But in lightwinds its harder to get it to respond quickly... this more so than in 06.
I rigged my 7m 07 with the direct bridle and found it a little bit less smooth than with the bridle, but steering is much more direct. I don't think steering is any faster though. |
