Spending a few days in Seaside. Classic winter weather pattern except warmer. A few pics from today.

Here's Mike Godsey's take...our North Pacific High is not as high as it needs to be!

(although if it mean consistent southerlies I am not complaining! Very Happy )

Not much happening at the moment in Seaside. Maybe six knots from the southwest. Hope it picks up.

Up and down 20kt Southeries at seaside with some decent sets building in at 3pm yesterday - then 3:30 it went nuts - got blown off the water on the 8m gusting 40

Took the dog out for some sand blasting then headed south for hopefully some cleaner conditions

- hit Tolovana, pumped up the 6m but it went to 4.5m before I could lay out the lines - so got the 4.5 - 7ft@15sec solid double overhead goofy joy

Manzanita on Tuesday had head high waves on inside and some powerful double overhead SW sets on the outside (a big change from Monday's tamer 4 to 5' stuff). It's definitely hard getting to the outside with all these waves constantly rolling in, I need more south wind practice !

The wind was solid side shore 7m (3-5pm), then went to 9m. Cliff and I had it pretty much to ourselves, but there were 3 visiting wakeboarders in front of town braving the conditions !

Here's a pic at end of day (8pm), I kited until 7pm Very Happy
