the fan turned on at the hatchery at noon and kept building until 5, best day of the year, where was everbody, I was the only person there for 2hours! More of the same tomorrow!

I had a 12 meter rpm session just above the bridge for an hour or so alone around 2 and then we packed up and headed to the completely empty forbidden east spot for a 14 meter little late afternoon big kite session. Great day and it was like a ghost town out there til about 330 or so!!

As the west winds built in around 2pm is here in The Dalles I knew that the corridor was going to be perfect. Swell to Event, aka corridor, always has that best wind when the gradient builds due to gradient combined with thermal push.
It's one of the few times I leave wind to find wind. It's also the only reason I'm jealous of Hood River. Ok, maybe I'm jealous about HopLava, but that's it.

Unreal perfect wind from 3ish to 6ish..
Rigged a 12 RPM, amazingly well behaved kite, like my golden it just sits there waiting for me to turn.
Cranked up wind fully powered on my Tyrant until I saw the beautiful swell at the hatch/swell city.
It's gonna happen again today,
