Which is a better beginners kite, Slingshot Key or Turbo 2/3? Also, which kite will get you on the water sooner, the Key 13M or Turbo 2/3 14M. Thanks

The Key by magnitudes. It has similar power and handling (it's a big bow feeling kite), but better handling. Easier to relaunch and more intuitive. Hard to beat the Turbo 14's for the Key 13 in light light wind but negligible and the better performance means you'll get more out of the Key if you need to.

Don't overlook at 2011/2012 Rally (14M).

With the 2013s out, the prices for used kites will drop (sounds like what you're looking at) and it is a good beginner kite that will also grow with you.

The true pulley'ed bridle of the Key or Turbos may be a little more forgiving for a newbie, but you'd to okay either way.
