Heads up to y'all about event site parking pass discount, here is post from HR Port Authority..

"Port of Hood River is offering discounted Hood River Event Site season passes - as long as the pass is purchased by Friday, May 20. Regular price is $50; the cost is $40 if purchased by May 20, one day before the Event Site ticket booths open.

For larger vehicles that exceed 22 feet in length overall, including recreational vehicles and vehicles with trailers, the normal $100 season fee is discounted to $90.

Passes will be valid through the summer recreation season.

Passes may be purchased with credit cards and debit cards over the phone, (541) 386-1645. Cash and card purchases are available during normal business hours at the Port office, 1000 E. Marina Way, Hood River. After hours, purchasers may call or email the Port and receive a call back. The Port's email address is porthr@gorge.net."

There is a usage survey when you buy your pass that asks if you are a windsurfer or a kiter. They're going to use that info when deciding how to allocate event site access and services in the future. Be sure to be respectful and give them props for the increased kiteboard access when you pick yours up.

What are the hours that the office is open to pick up the pass?

They are open 8-5pm.

If you cant make that (and your just buying 1 pass) they will have hold them at the booth for you after hours you just have to let them know.

If you buy a family pass the first pass is $40 and each one is $20 after that - just FYI you have to pick those up in person cause they check your insurance card to make sure both cars are for the same family.

Are these passes moveable from car to car?
I don't always drive the same car.
