we were up on st. helens (planes of abe area) trying to snowkite a few years back and a dude trashed his brand new $7k sled doing that very same thing. he couldn't make the top, then rolled down (it was way steep). no insurance and wifey had to tow him out with her sled Crying or Very sad

nice vid though!!

Nice. That is not easy to do even with what looks like nice Spring corn snow....plus...you still have to come down. I've seen many expensive sleds go Wave Wave

dude, that is indeed pretty bad ass. It looks steep as hell on the video so you KNOW its uber steep in person.

Now everyone stop talking about snow please.

Nice, Mark!

This would be nice...

Saturday:
Increasing easterly flow. Thermal trough starts to sneak northward up the I-5 Corridor causing valley temps to quickly jump into the 80's. This should be enough to trigger easterlies to reaching mid 20's to low 30's for Rooster Rock to Stevenson in the late morning to early afternoon. The Corridor pretty light with sub to low teen easterlies. Celilo to Rufus reaching eastelies in the mid to upper teens in the mid afternoon.

If not, it can start snowing! Smile
