Nice little slider, looks super fun. In the vid it looks like it might be a little to far upwind? Like how it's floating on a log raft, that's genius.

I have no clue haha.... perpendicular to the wind is the slider suppose to sit at a 45 deg. angle? could you sketch it up maybe, that might help.. so when I can go out I will make sure its all set up correctly.. Total newb here, thanks!

It should be the same angle as your kite lines when you're riding by.

forrest, yeah everyone is excited about hitting it on the slider. it's been around since this winter, it just got moved to this beach. sibborn and the DB crew put this slider together and mounted it on the logs to really give it that natural NW feeling. maybe you get the slider guys from the hood to make a road trip up here and do a clinic or demo. looking forward to the slider jam next month.

Fun looking slider. Good work guys. Definitely too far upwind in the video. You'll love it once you line it up with your kite lines like Forrest suggested.

the problem I found was that
1-it was difficult to move. I tried reseting it but tough to do with one hand. not alot of help from anyone. sibborn and I would try moving this but need more helpers. everyone would rather kite and hit it.
2- water got choppy and it would bounce up and down.
3- we're still trying to figure out how it all works. your feedback is welcomed.
here's an overhead shot of it.

Stringy, You might want to consider adding some legs. Then it will float so you can move it, but once you get it place, deploy the legs to hold it in place.
We've been using a similar method to this for the Pickle. Move it around on floating barrels, but deploy the legs once we get it in place.
