anybody recommend a hotel - only going to be there for 2 or 3 nights (just me so dont need a house)

the salve marina, in salvo has a house that they rent out rooms in kinda hostel style. Not too bad on conditions, cheapest in the area. We camped on their properity for 3 months last summer and only say 3 or four different groups go through. If you cant find a number for them call any one in the waves/salve area and ask. its such a small place everyone knows eachother. The guy who own the properity is names don. Let me know if you have any other questions, like I said I spent three months on the sandbar last summer.

PS the hot tuna is the local bar

I stayed in a nice little motel in Salvo up just up from the Tower one block off the main road. Id call Real to get the name an ph#.

They have a nice grass area and fresh water hose to rinse your gear, I remember paying something like $39/nite, with two twins and full kitchen. It was just right.
