08 rev bridle

I have a 08 rev that needs a line replaced on the bridle . Where is the easiest place to get replacements, or go thru slingshot? Thanks

2nd wind is amazing. They usually will not only sell you the part but give you a good heads up as far as what yo need to do for the fix.

Just stopped the other day and they were like hey do you know how to do this?

My response, nope, but it doesn't seem to hard. Pepi's wife (I think) "well let me get Nate to make sure you get this put in correctly."

9 dollar part. They spent 10 minutes making sure it went in right. They made what--2 bucks on the part? Maybe 3?

We are glad to help you out with the bridle question (you are also free to call the Slingshot Rider Helpline).
The best thing to do is to bring the kite in complete, then we can determine which bridle line you have worn. It is usually advisable to let us check out the rest of your bridle to make sure everything is still okay on your bridle.
As mentioned in some earlier posts this Spring, bridle lines can stretch out and pulleys can get locked up. Both situations, when fixed, greatly improve the turning and depower capabilities of your kite.

If you can, please call us ahead of time to make sure that one of our kite staff will be in when you bring your kite by. Makes things faster and easier for you.

why even own a kite that has pullies?
old tech,
pully gets bound up in sand=death spiral strait down the line
bridle wears out from trimming, breaks=another death spiral

more advanced kite designers bagged the pullies long ago

Remember that if you can't find OEM bridle parts for older kites Airtime can make them. We've been supplied with Slingshot factory lines and can make any configuration and length you need. Also the latest issue of Kiteboarding mag has a good article for checking your bridle for wear and tear.
