Lincoln City, OR — On August 17, 2009 Michael Kirnak was kite boarding at Lincoln City, Oregon. It was 3:30 PM and he had been on the water about 30 minutes. The sky was clear with a brisk 20 knot North wind and a swell of about 5 feet. Kirnak reported the following; “I was kite boarding and saw a number of seals jumping about 50 yards away. I went over to investigate and saw a large shark. I left the area immediately. The shark followed me, even though I was moving quite fast, 15 – 20 MPH. Once I hit the shore break I didn't see the shark again.” Please report any shark sighting, encounter, or attack to the Shark Research Committee.

What kind of parents would name their kid Dick if their last name was Teeny. That is just wrong.

In LA times article linked above it states "Under both federal and state laws, taking or possessing a great white shark is illegal. "
WTF. They can eat us and we can't eat them? That's just wrong. I would eat a great white fish sandwich every day if I could. Fair is fair.
And what's all this whining about us invading their territory. I consider the surf my territory too. I'm willing to share if they are willing to stop biting. Otherwise, fuck them. I don't care if they are pretty / amazing or whatever. Bring on the harpoons. They started it
