tried attaching the go pro to my board today.

it was definitely a day of progression today. I started practicing how to do railey's. Even though i'm still hooked in, but trying to figure out the motions. Also I'm continuing to tweak the back rolls and jumps on my weak side.

if you look at about a minute in to the movie you'll see a pretty nasty wipeout. I had a front roll in mind and the result was something horrible with one of my legs hooked around the bar. the kite looped through the powerzone and dragged me down wind a ways but didn't get hurt at all. I managed to get back to my board in a few body dragging tacs and get up and keep hittin it!

there was only 2 other kiters out at cline today. the sensors said it was blowing about 13-23mph but it felt like high teens to low 20's on the water

super cool video and always good to see someone working hard on progressing.

I think you will find that if you unhook the Raileys will be much easier although you are working on your popping technique and that is probably the most important thing.

Two hints when you unhook...

1. As soon as you bear off and unhook, REALLY lean back and edge HARD. When you pop from this position you will naturally extend into the railey. If you don't lean back enough, the kite will quickly pull you shoulders over hips and you can't effectively pop from there.

2. point down wind when you land so you can easily hook back in.

Go For It!!!

where about's were you riding at? looks like a nice spot.

its good to see someone out on the CORE GT. I've always wanted to try those. they use the same bar setup that my Flysurfer Psycho 4 has.

nice dude,

yeah I'm not sure how it works, if core is part of flysurfer or if flysurfer is part of core.

either way there seems to be some relationship between the two companies.

there is a guy I met up here who is a friend of a friend. He was out on a 12m GT so I might try and get a ride on his sometime.
