Most of the BKC is out of town so I am taking a drive today with the 5/4/3 to Haystack to make an attempt at some frigid kiting at Haystack Reseivoir today if anyone from Bend wants to join. Probably leaving around 12:00 or so, and with 20mph on the forecast, it will probably be working. Anyone? Call me or post reply if you want to hook up.

I have contemplated haystack a couple times recently but the thought of that cold water has erased those thoughts. If the wind does pick up though I may head out there too.

Just looked at the forecast, SW wind doesnt sound to promising with the layout of the topography around there

Haystack is SSW 5 - 8 mph , looks like it isnt going to happen early anyway. Let me know how it went if you go.

Going anyway and at the very least bring my surfboard and let my dog play. I'll be able to at least check it out for another time but i think it will blow this afternoon don't you think?
