I hear ya. My company wants to send me down to Hayward, CA. I've lived in eastern CA before (Tahoe), but i think this is not going to be for me at all (SF Bay). Is having all your time to yourself in OR better than a job in CA? Umm yeah. Until I get really hungry and have to feed off hipsters. At least I'll have plenty of pretentous idiots to hunt and won't starve. First stop Hawthorne Blvd.

Hi Cece, we are planning to drive down to Baja around the 7th-10th. Leaving from Stevenson Washington. This is our first time driving and would like to caravan down with someone. We are planning to cross the border at Tecate. Drop us a note if this sounds like it is in your time frame. Ben and Vickie

134 murders in TJ last month. Stay away. In fact, the better the waves, the more likelihood you'll be abducted and murdered.

Didn't realize there was good kiting in TJ. Must be good if people are dying to get it.

Cross at sunrise and don't stop driving til close to dark and you should be far enough from the border zone. Definitely don't drive near Tijuana at night. _________________ The Slider Project, LLC

finally a way to make some dough off surfers,
I've heard of anyone lookin money is fair game
Like GeneK says hit it early
and don't stop
until inside someplace with walls that you paid someone for.
It's not getting better
With all the news in S.Cal. about abductions and murders
I'm sure the tourist count is down so you may be lookin money and not know it |

I'd say that if you're really worried, worried enough, just pay the solo sports guys to handle your travel.
