No really. The Hasselhoff is a real trick that they've been performing on the world circuit. I just can't find the definition anywhere on the net.

It's where you order a takeout burger at a restaurant, get drunk as hell cuz you're an alcoholic, then eat it on the floor of your hotel room while your daughter films it. Super tech trick but looks so sick when you pull it off.

The German kiteboarder landed a slim, front mobe, mobe, back to blind air pass, blind judge, front side 360 and a kiteloop-backloop while Koole had a slim, mobe, front mobe, hasselhoff, KGB and a blind judge up his trick list but had less power in his moves.
This was a highlight from the pro circuit yesterday.

I prefer the above response. It's a wakeboarding trick.

Hasslehoff: A switch heelside front flip with a backside 180 - Invented by Thomas Horrell.
Sounds like it's basically a switch front-roll to blind where you pass the bar before landing. This is assuming we can count a front-flip as a front-roll in kiteboarding.

pdxer,
You know, imbedded somewhere, deep inside my psyche, lies the mad skills capable of pulling off one of these badboys.
Actually, I was just curious, as I'd never even heard of it before.
pdxmonkeydude, this is done unhooked, isn't it? I think there's an airpass in there as well. (Hope your wrist is healing well. Did you ever get any leads on that idiot low-life that stole you mower?)
Thanks
Have you guys ever seen that Sponge Bob movie with the Hasselhoff transport scene? After seeing that, I thought the Hasselhoff was some kind of fancy bodydrag.
I was at the Luis Palau concert thingy the other day, and listened to the guy that invented the Christ Air move. At the time he was a meth addict, but not now. Anyway, someone put this vid up, talking about various tricks. Funny stuff.

gene, didn't anyone tell you assumption is the mother of all fuck ups
front roll and front flip are two different tricks
front roll the board rotates end over end, the axis is your belly button
opposite of a back roll
front flip the board rotates edge over edge, a line through your hips is the axis
opposite of a tantrum
i would like to see the kite version of this to see if the dude is doing it any justice
only kiter i have seen do it legit is alvaro

A switch heelside front flip with a backside 180 while holding puppies...
Sadly only receives points in competitions in Germany.

Good info Joby. Didn't know any kiters were throwing wakestyle front-flips so assumed it was a misnomer from the judges. Kinda how they call dangle passes with a spin mobes.
You forgot to add that assuming makes an ass out of u and me.
