Doug, The Event Site host, posted on FB that if you have gear going missing, report it to the police. They came across a car full of stolen gear. I came across a guy there 2 weeks ago that didn't seem to fit in. He would park for a while and then leave and come back 30 minutes later. Keep them doors locked and eyes peeled.

From the Event Site host:
The Hood River Police called yesterday to tell me that if anyone looses stuff at the Event Site they can file a stolen item report. And that they busted someone with lots of gear in their vehicle. Had a feeling that something was amiss, compared to last year. And that too much stuff has gone missing. Hopefully that will cut down on theft and glad they busted the thief. But keep an eye on your gear … and other’s stuff … and write your name and number on it. If you’ve lost something recently, check with the police. They may have it. Your humble Event Site host … |
