Dude, take it to Airtime, or purchase a new strut from them online and have them mail it.

If that doesn't appeal to you then try the search function on this forum. I know that there have been numerous posts on how to fix bladder problems. One I recall used an iron and off heat to meld the two areas together.

Go to the search function above, type in "bladder repair", click "search for all terms", and hit search. The search function works wonders. . . Lots of posts on this topic.

If you don't want to try those then try some Tenacious D Rocket Sauce.

Not sure if Noobs looking for a fix or just commiserate and laugh at bad fix jobs.

Looking at that pic reminds me of the nightmares I used to have with those same valve connections on my early Naish's. I think it was high summer heat that would melt the glue so that air could squeak out through those grooves. I would get glue back in the channels but they would always start leaking again eventually.

My kites definitely had some sauna sessions in the sky box this summer and so far no problems. Thumb's Up

That looks like my first kite kinda (but not, I still have it). The white stuff reminds me of 3m 5200 polysulfide adhesive bedding compound, which can actually work well to glue bladders and almost anything else, but the pictured situation is not “ideal.”
Did someone try using latex caulk instead? Rolling Eyes
