Not a bad vid.

I've go a question about the handheld GoPro stick.

If the stick encased with some type of floatable material. What would happen to the stick and camera if one let go of it? Would it immediately sink?

That particular Go Pro stick is actually the carbon fiber tail boom from an American Miniature Aircraft Helicopter with a Specialized mtn bike grip on the user end. I did seal both ends and it will float with a Go Pro on it. That helicopter was before the multi blade drones and it had about a 6 foot rotor blade and would take of at 26 lbs loaded ... Very Happy

I've made selfie sticks from windsurf booms and they work great. just cap the ends so it is sealed and this is plenty buoyant. make sure it is a bright color if you're not using a leash! black carbon is challenging to see in the chop!
nice video emmet!

Emmet tried quite a few different foils including some locally made on Maui. He said that the Stringy Wingy was the most stable and rideable by far. For some reason he also loves that big ass plywood wakeboard thingy that he put on top of it.
