Who's got the fixed post-to-post slackline design for a backyard? I could use some input and photos. I'm thinking 4x4 posts - like Jack designed at the spit. I don't really wanna use the stanchion lines supporting posts, but will if necessary. The yute could use another activity complimentary to dangle skating. Thanks.

I know nothing about slacklining, but I do know that when I sunk PT 4 x 4s in my back yard for a hammock support, one of them snapped off and nearly brained me. Talk about an interrupted nap... I'd go bigger if I were you.

Best way is to use simple A shaped frames and two "anchors" for the slackline (2x4 and a shovel is all you need). As long as the slackline is tight the A frames don't need any additional support.

Check out this article: http://www.slacklineexpress.com/notrees.htm (read "How to make your own A-Frames" and "Slacking on the Beach" the 2x4 buried 3-4 feet underground will work perfectly well in your garden as well as in the sand)
