Just the photo there makes it look so relaxing and casual. Uuugh. Soon I take the plunge and hope for the best through the learning process.

Jim,
That thing at .16 to .22 looks so delightful and simple. A 360? Is it within the grasp of someone with limited Tack skills? (Not "Tak" skills... that guys a maniac)

I think it's a regular tack where he avoids switching his feet and rotating by releasing the bar so it's not in the way as he comes around. You can do these on any board, but I think it's only with a foil you can come through and stay heel side. At .18/.19 he is heel side leaning downwind toward the kite. He could basically go round and round in a circle like that. Shocked

IMO, gives pause to consider only focusing and mastering slow free riding skills before moving on to higher speed/race skills.

What's the thing he's doing where the kite is pointing down at the water and just hanging there? Never seen that before. Crazy.

Lots of back stalling going on to control the kite position. Essentially flying the kite forwards and backwards.

It's a Striny foil from 0:00 -> 3:17, that's all Greg rides.

How long is he in town for?
Hate to use this cliche, but he is at one with his gear.
