Anybody get a bunch of LF gear stolen? There's a bunch of stuff on CL and the ads just seem a bit suspect.

I dunno, seems legit to me. They use the word "quiver" and didn't seem to use any language a non-kiteboarder would use, like "strings" or "parachute".

Yeah, you could be right. Usually people take pictures of pumped up kites or at least roll them out. I thought the pictures of the kites all wadded up seemed odd.

A friend got a Lib Tech surfboard stolen out of his truck the other week so I am on the lookout. Evil or Very Mad

Don't forget the chords! All those parachutes have rip chords...

And please search continually for Tonia Farman's freshly stolen Jet Ski. Ripped from the ES parking lot this week.
"STOLEN: Brand new (never hit the water yet) 2015 Yamaha Waverunner V1 (looks exactly like this photo) from a parking lot in the Hood River Waterfront area!! VIN # YAMA1132D515. The ski was taken right off a locked trailer somehow, probably not by amateurs! I do not understand how people can consciously steal and feel good about themselves!! Ok, got that out. No time to dwell on it. Back to week 2 of a crazy 3 months of business as usual at Cascade Kiteboarding!"

What I find weird is the poster quotes $900 on the top/headline for what it seems all the kites and then has more realistic pricing on the individual kites below.

Strange that no pumps or bar and lines are offered along with the kites.

I've added the "" marks onto Tonya's copy/paste comments above re: thieves.

I don't think $1500 is a realistic price for a two year old kite, even if it is only used once.

They're probably not 2 year old kites. I know he claims they're 2014's however the kite bags all belong to 2013's as well as th color card in the bag top. The 2014's have a completely different bag style and very very different color pattern. Hard to say more without seeing the kites expanded but i find that very suspicious.

The fact that the seller is wearing mismatched socks in the third picture definitely raises my suspicions
