EVENT SITE KITEBOARD LAUNCHING NOTICE:
Starting on Monday, June 13 kiteboard launching and landing from the Event Site grass will be prohibited for the duration of the summer season. The increased crowding of the busy summer season combined with lower river levels annually prompt the Port to require that kiteboarders launch and land from the Sandbar. The Port of Hood River appreciates the cooperation and attention to safety of all users at the Event Site.

thanks pepi for your work with the port this year. I am grateful to have been able to launch and land from the event site especially for foiling. can't wait for the restriction to be lifted again!!!
