Classic April early season east winds predicted coupled with uncharacteristicly warm temps could = some superlative Rooster/Booster days this coming Wed night & Thurs.

I'm sure there is little to no beach out there...Anyone have some firsthand Intel?

Sunny and windy! Unfortunately, the water level has seemed to have risen above the cross beam on the jetty. Probably little to no beach iE drift launching from the stairs and rocks.

If you require beach for launch/land keep an eye on the water height while you are kiting. The water level can change 4 feet in a single day:

Current water level is about 7 feet higher than last week...

PDX should be rideable today, but probably hella crowded.

We got a pretty lit up Dalton Downwinders on Sunday on 7's! Team launching from the boat ramp at Dalton and team landing at the steps in RR. I would say advanced launching/landing techniques are required. The middle set of steps seemed to be the cleanest option.

The up side is that the pond upwind of RR beach is full and flat. The updraft you get from the island gives you a little extra boost too! I recommend coming in as upwind as you can. Lots of flotsam out there too.
