If Bend was closer to good kiting areas I would consider moving there for sure...love that town!

Hell I have lived in places much further then Bend is to good kiting but yup sure have lived closer. The wave is fun, can't beat the park and play!

When does the wave run till? When does then run off stop.

I have no data at all to base this on, but with the mountains having a good snow pack this year I'm guessing there will be a ridable wave at least till early summer. They have remote control of the shape under water so they will probably adjust according to the flow.

The green wave was in at just 200 cfs so it should be in year round, wait not should but will be in year round

It was a decent snow year, but snowpack is coming off FAST, and there's lots of water coming down the rivers now.

I've heard that they expect an early peak this year, and that by June we may be well below average river flows...

Spoke with Ryan the wave shaper and he said that the green wave will be in year round. So the run off mostly effects the 1st and 4th wave.
