Thanks for the company and shuttle. 55 degree water and wind. 5 of us from noon to 2 with 17' swell but fine inside. Consistent 20ish until the last half hour which ramped up to 30. Made the 10m a bit of a handful Wink

Yeah! great session, good meeting everyone. I felt like I got off a plane to kite it felt so warm. 4/3 wetsuit and no gloves.

Did anyone check the tides? Getting out in the back wash as waves pushed up the dunes was pretty freaky.

30mph on an 11m was perfect for huge boosts. Conditions were a bit gnar to get much above 30'. Dern was flying!

Saturday was glorious down in Seaside in the 6m-8m range. Caution is required during these high surf advisories when there are so many logs on the beach. One minute the ocean seems very far away, then a head high surge traveling 10 knots sweeps in and starts throwing the logs around like toothpicks. Shocked Thumb's Up

Rad shots!!!!

Yeah head on a swivel and dont fail: lots of water moving around when you get that 20' storm swell - challenging swimming conditions

Fun riding with Scott, Greg, Jordan & Rob.

Should we start a new topic? Say "Winter North Coast" ?
Thoughts? We could put our up and coming kite day announcements.
Also, I'm finding NOAA forecast to be rather good. Comments?

Forecast for this weekend is looking confused... lots of wind direction changes. South, East, West... even some North.

The NOAA forecasts for the coast have been pretty reliable and mesh up well with the WindAlert/Ikitesurf forecasts. I think the gust forecasts on NOAA can be a little bit low, which is when I find the WindAlert/Ikitesurf forecast to be helpful.

NOAA forecast looks good tomorrow for Shipwrecks. I have to work, not sure if I will get it off. Is anyone thinking about going?
