Headed out camping with the fam with the intent to surf and/or kite. I've surfed there a few times but never kited. I'm hoping someone would be willing to put me under their wing and shave my %$^ if needed. Any NWKiters going to be out that way this weekend? Thanks, |

I notice your not getting any replies... so unless your Sean Connery you may not get many people driving from the Schity to "shave your A$$" |

I doubt there's many on NW kite that venture there... You would probably have better luck finding someone to shave your A$$ if you post here:
http://pskite.org/
Also, you may want to offer at least beer for such a service. |

You might consider looking up crawdaddy on pskite.org and send him a PM. Crawdaddy is Dennis Crowley, who runs a marine rescue service and shop in Aberdeen, WA and kites at Westport regularly.
We have beach reps from pskite that help look after safety and access for certain spots around WA. Dennis is in that role for Westport. You probably need to register on pskite.org to PM crawdaddy (Dennis) for local contact.
Westport wind can be fickle, but it is excellent when it's on. Bring surfboard/SUP for surf, along with kite gear, and you are set. You need a WA discovery pass to park at state park which is the best launch in the area, plus gives you access to waves in ocean and flat water in half moon bay.
Have fun! |
