So, I launched in the late afternoon lull yesterday from the WS sandbar and it was all I could do just to struggle down to the ES. I made it without swimming, but it was touch and go with my skill set.
A HUGE thank you to Monica (and her dog Ollie) at the Big Winds rental booth for the ride back across the bridge! Very kind.
When I got back down to the WS sandbar someone had taken my pump out of my kite bag along with a packet of random pigtails and other miscellaneous items. At least they left my bag and flip flops.
I had been comfortable leaving things on the beach, but anymore you just never know. The pump was getting old and ready for replacement probably. Oh, well...
