Where to where? Size, type and quantity of boards?

If you're travelling a lot and want to just take your board you might want to invest in one of the Nobile split boards - https://shop.nobilesports.com/kiteboarding/boards/separa-nhp-split.html

You need to have buddy who is in a commercial shipping. I use to make a web site for a business that shipped a lot. I was able to bring my stuff in and get it shipped cheap! Very Happy I do miss that!

I was thinking about this as in buying or selling - but tips relating to traveling with boards are also important. Traveling doesn't seem to be as hard - you will get dinged for your surfboard now and then, but most of the time you don't if the bag is under weight.

I just bought a twin tip for my wife - $77 to ship seems like a lot - I was hoping that someone had some better approaches. I'll check out uship - Thanks!

I wanted to buy a SUP from a guy in midwest. It was going to cost 400 to ship the pig.
I looked for a week. Never found a better deal so I never bought it . Be careful when quoting big boards.

Fed Ex has fair rates and can ship up to 6' for small surf. 140 twin should run under $50 cross country. $80 a for 6 surfboard.

Post office can be the cheapest. Just put a lable on the board and send it. Do you think the mail will do more damage to your board than you will. Nope!!! Us mail is super cheap to send boards to Hawaii as they only go by air and you can pay the cheap rate. Boards make it in about a week also!
