Saw this one coming last week and it hit the bulls eye today. Good long session of west winds and warm day time air temps. Tons of fun had by all the local kiters.

Very Happy

Yup great day on the coast for sure.

The wind was still going strong after dropping Gman's crew off so I pumped the kite up for a second session and rode at shipwreck till it got dark.

Do any of the windwise locals think tomorrow could be good at Manzanita?

W SWELL 9 FT AT 14 SECONDS. RAIN LIKELY. "

Winter Southerlies always a game day call - better if you can look out the window and jump on it - 10 to 15 sounds iffy but around the right headland you could get lucky

In really unstable weather - I'm looking at the readings up and down the coast - usually more concerned about pumping up too big and getting annihilated - last year we once got shutdown by lightning and another time my board washed to the beach and got sucked up in some devil vortex - twister cows came to mind...

Thursday late afternoon might have some light wind around 15 kts max mostly on the north coast. Friday looks better with 15-20 light to moderate south winds late morning till dark with more wind the further north you go on the coast. Bring big kites!

Idea
