Boy you guys missed a great morning !
No one showed up at all, there were more windsurfer’s in the parking lot at 12:30pm than kiter’s. Like I was the only one!
Was gusty but great fun

Me and Spidermonkey went out in Columbia City. It was way onshore almost straight across the river with a little south in it.
With the tide going out and fins scraping rocks on the upstream tack, It took me a couple walks of shame to get used to that direction.

Butter flat water at sandbar on a 6m, easterly rarely blow that hard in HR. Mandatory hot shower on the boat afterwards.

didn't get much for pics, but was pretty intense in the city that afternoon.
maybe should have tried rooster, but when do you ever have the opportunity to ride a 5m only 15 minutes from home!
tattered flags and sand dunes at broughton beach on tuesday. took two days to get sand out of my ears it was so windy.

That rooster wind graph looks a bit viscious! Think I will skip and wait for the steady coastal winds coming threw this weekend. Man kiting in winds with a 30mph spread between lulls and gusts is a major work out! Glad you had fun and props for getting out in this cold.
