Yo yo just curious if anyone knows of a spot on the northern-central OR coast that gets more onshore wind with waves? I know manzo can be slightly more onshore... Thanks!

If you're worried about going out to sea in a breakdown situation, all the North coast sites are side on. Just avoid jetty mouths and you'll be fine. Manzo might have a little more west in it, but it also is 5 mph more wind than anywhere else north of Florence. If you lose your surfboard, it will be 100 feet south of you on the beach if you are body dragging in. 500 feet if it's a twintip. I actually think an 8 or 10m day with swell under 4' is easier/smoother at Manzo than the Event Site.

I think Manzo is your best bet. Northern strip/coast gets hit pretty hard with very west winds in late March and April. Unaligned pretty big swell but swell and wind in the same direction not so good for riding waves ie Hindenburg/slack lines.

mtjustice is not worried about being blown out to sea.
he wants a site for boosting strapless airs and tricks.
on shore wind is advantageous to keeping the board stuck to his feet.
