Anybody on this forum know Mike Jones from Michigan, last I saw him he was heading to the Gorge, with his woman friend Deb. That was back in 2002, so...... I'd like to contact him, if anyone knows.
Also, here is the newest West Michigan Kiteboarding video
On the camera, Mr. Andy & Mrs. Jojo Bolt, and Noah Penn.
Sweet editing, all done by Andy Bolt

Here is the link.

Change weekly.
Air temps bounce around, for ex., we hit the high 70s a few times in April, then it was between 50 - 80 in May.
Inland, the air was up to 100 last week, with 80s near Lake Mich.
Water temp also changes constantly.
High 30s-50s in April and May, then it got up into the 70s toward June.
A few days of North or East winds, will drop temps into the 50s, as surface water blows around.
Wetsuit insulation is dictated by the day, I've been in just a rashy since May, but had a freeze out this weekend, after a week of N winds.

Great video.
Gotta love the section of the video where the rider is pumping up his kite in a hooded wetsuit.
Check out the sheet of ice floating in the water behind him. brrr! |

For those who are on a Mac, the previous link won't work.
But, you can download the wmv file from:
http://www.msu.edu/user/pennnoah/unreal.wmv
Hopefully, you can get a program that will play it, they do exist.
Later NWK,
