Tree limbs were flying around the parking lot - nearly got blown off the sidewalk on the overpass - some fun at the Rooster Ponds with Monkeyboy (thanks for the pics), Kevin, Bryan, and Jake

I have found 2 uses for my skim now...super-underpowered light-wind weapon, and super-nuked-out-lit-to-the-moon-edge master!!!

Yeah its kinda tough with all the chop, but once you loosen your knees and just go with it....they all become obsticles and ramps!! Plus, it's way easier to keep the board glued to the feet. And, when I'm super lit...I just shift my weight to one side to really edge the board, which kinda makes it work like a huge skag-fin..It's when you are flat on your board when you get in trouble...you would've killed it too.. Wink

Thanks for the pics GMAN! sick air!! Twisted Evil

Nice. I am back from Africa. If I had my stuff I would have been out. Heading up to to hood river today, so if it goes tomorrow I will probably be out.

Ummmm to the guy with the Fuel and Yellow lifejacket, Probably not the best day to be practicing bodydragging with winds gusting into the low 50's. Ps I think you owe the Yellow kite guy that you tangled lines with a beer or several! Shocked

Oh yeah, awesome 150' beach drag! Shocked Rolling Eyes

That sounds interesting. I drove by BV around 3:30 and saw a black kite out that looked way to big just bouncing off the water. I was hoping nothing bad was going to happen.

That was probably me just sitting down putting my bindings on Jim...was on the 6.5m and lasted about 20 min. Just no fun with the huge gusts and lulls.
