Challenging times ahead. The water is extremely high today,Wednesday the 20th of May. There is very little sandbar at the ES, just the extreme south end and the ES is closed . Cold water 53, strong current , gusty wind. Mother nature and the powers to be are keeping the touristas away. Stay safe and keep your eyes out for your buddies and compute your risk/reward ratio for your sessions.

Yup, it's brutal out there the past few days. Airtemp only 56 even all the way out at Avery today, rain squalls and 15-35+. Current is as strong as it's been yet this spring at 350ish kcsf;

Take an extra moment and double check your gear!
