If you plan on modding a slingshot 42cm stabilizer to use with the 633, you have two choices. You can Frankenstein mount it like I show in the first post. This works fine and is completely quiet. You'll need to extend the rear hole, the front hole is in the right spot to keep the trim of the stabilizer correct for the 633.
If you want to mount it like stock, you need to fill the holes and notch with epoxy. Then drill the holes again and countersink the other side. Remember to use a countersink with a 90 degree angle. (Metric uses 90 degrees, US wood and machine screws use 82 degrees.) The fluted countersink I had chattered horribly, this one worked great: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KTTR45Q/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I also used a jig that I made to hold the stabilizer at the correct angle for the drilling. (Shown in the picture.) It seems pretty important to me to have the hole lined up with the mounting holes... That said, the Moses stabilizer seems to have the holes drilled way off on angle.
The stock position of the front hole on the 42cm stabilizer lines the stab up so that trim is correct. If anything, the trim is such that you can stand just a bit further aft on the board. (Maybe. It's only a tiny bit if anything.) Moving the stabilizer forward requires more front foot pressure, moving it aft requires less front foot pressure. Moving the stabilizer aft also decreases pitch stability; at least it did for me. (Moving the stabilizer fore and aft rotates the stabilizer and changes the trim.)

since this is an improvement to the 633 foil, i'm going to add my contribution to making this foil work better for those that find the foil can't be mounted far enough back on the board. I've designed a fuselage that works with the 633 wings but the wing is mounted about 2 inches farther back. basically I have shifted the tuttle style box forward as far as I could thus making the wing sit farther back on the board. here's some images of the fuselage and in some of the pics you see the existing fuse next to my fuse. you can see how much I've shifted the pocket forward

VERY COOL Jim!!! Kind of makes you wonder why Moses didn't design the fuselage like this to begin with...

Why is Moses not using the 425mm/MS425 or 330mm/MS330 stabilizers with the Onda 633 wing? I was planing to build mine this way, but didn't find any info on the topic other than your post.

Thos stabilizers don't bolt up to the surf fuselage which is what the 633 uses. The holes don't line up... This begs the question, why doesn't Moses make the stabilizers interchangeable for all fuselages? Pretty poor design decision making the bolt pattern for the stabilizers different... Anyways, the Slingshot 42cm stab works great, and I think Stringy is going to make an adapter so that you can bolt it right up to the Moses fuselage.

Great points! It seems like Slingshot's Space Skate 2019 FKite may be a fair alternative and the setup is so versatile with A and B mast positions, switch fuselage and compatibility with multiple wings.
