Nice shots as always Jim.

Looking forward to another day at Rooster today once it warms up a bit.

Stringy thanks for always keeping the stoke alive. Wintler Park land-and-launch or Broughton Beach off Marine Dr?

The Rooster Cam was showing very liquid smoke like vids yesterday.

Side note, you know they say 20kt winds is when sand starts to consistently transport on top of the wet sand at the beach. I wonder at what speed wind has to be for liquid smoke to be created? I suspect this number would be lower for fresh water vs salt water as salt water is a bit more dense.

Safe travels and good times wherever your warm kiting adventures take you.

I usually figure that liquid smoke starts to shows it's face in the gorge around 40 knots during west winds. East winds might add a couple of extra knots to the equation... give or take...
