For me anyway. Very Happy Damaged my shoulder a few weeks ago in a spectacular foil crash, heading into surgery today to fix it. Out for 1 to 4 months depending on the damage they find. Have a great rest of Summer everybody!

(I didn't hit the board. The damage was done by plowing headfirst into the water with my arms extended. The resistance of the bar in the water shoved my arm back and did the damage.)

Bummer! And just before your favorite time of year. . .the east winds of late summer and early fall.

Quick and painless recovery. If the pain killers stop you up too much, munch down a bunch of fig newton cookies; figs will get you going every time.

Bummer to read about your injury Nak, hopefully it will be a quick road to recovery with no hiccups. Anymore broken equipment doesn't even bother me as it is just part of the sport especially since I kitesurf all the time. It is injuries that suck big time.

Broken equipment vs broken bones, it is no contest as to which is the better outcome. Heal up quick...

Nak, you should contact your infamous Rooster Boat Babes to help massage that shoulder during rehab! Might not help, but worth a shot! Laughing

Bummer news, hoping for a quick and full recovery for you!

Thanks guys!

Surgery went well enough. Bone chip is fixed and the rotator cuff is all sewn up back together. I'll be riding again in time for Los Barriles in January! Very Happy

Heal Fast!!

But, damn! You must have Cadillac insurance. Up here in Tacoma it's 5 months for just the MRI.... not even the surgery. Lucky man.
