Hey Bolstad Clan...

Thanks for a great event... I have not done that run in a very long time. First half and second half went really great, just interrupted by a fight with the Viento channel marker and a 90 minute line tangle/rerig session! Stoked to get two last place finishes out of the day.

Quite funny to be standing up on top of the marker tower and watching bacially the entire field stream by... No damage to the gear except for my lost red bar floater...

Kind of surprised that kite/lines are anything but FUBAR after spinning 6K times stuck to the piling. I guess that's a testament to a quality product. You are inspiring.
My aging eyes are not so great or I would've seen you and offered to help.

Jon - next time you see Dylan floating in the water....do like everyone else, and just go by! he'll make it in...like at Ventana 2 yrs ago, when he was 13 and body dragging 5 miles to shore.

Nah, not my style... It was not Dylan's fault that I was a dumb idiot and forgot to pay attention to the rather large piling with the big green channel marker on it!

All good, and since I was not going to finish anywhere near the top guys... at least I have one damn funny story from the event...

Next year man, always next year as Kip said!
