Had a brain storming session at Walking Man brewpub this evening and we have refined some ideas for the Friday afternoon Past Winners / Pro's / Team Rider event.
As I mentioned before the Past Winners and Pro's are riding for bragging rights and Walking Man growlers. But, we've added an incentive to the pot.
Since there is no prize money or gear prizes for these riders we decided that the entry fee is a 6 pack of beer per rider, winner take all.  That's right, you could be the King of the Bridge AND have enough beer to party like a rock star! It's a WIN WIN WIN for everyone!
You get to ride and compete for practically free! You get to be cheered on by the crowd and kite to some rockin' tunes. AND THEN the hottest kiter of the day gets FREE BEER!
Depending on how many show up Grom will decide on whether to run one giant expression session for an hour or have multiple heats to break things up. Friday's session is the kickoff to a great weekend of kiting and the start of the photo contest. Come on out and enjoy the stoke!

Heard today that Reed Brady and Alex Fox will be riding on Friday. I think Ben Chambers is in and a couple of other past winners. (Steve! help me out here!).
Shannon will be riding for the girls throwing her usual HUGE kiteloops. Hoping that Britney and Laura can make it as well.
Friday afternoon should be a fun show - come on out!

Do any of you Seatle guys know how to get a hold of Adam Koch? He is the inaagural winner of BOTG. It would be awesome to get him down here.

Riders meeting at noon. First heat around 1:00 p.m.
Wind forecast looks great for today and tomorrow! Already blowing 15mph at 8:15 a.m.!
