Thanks for getting the board. Board loss is NOT that uncommon. Hope you are kidding about the rescue peeps.

We were Kiting today at around 3pm just dowwinnd of RR at the Corrbet Exit( good 9M)
At around 5pm 2 other kiters was also in the water when we were getting finish .One of them pulled out a board from the river with no other kite or people near where we were at. Then a firefighter or rescue person came down and asked us if we knew or saw a kiteboarder in distress (a call was put in) . When we were climbig butk up to the road there was a rescue dive team ,rescue boat,a couple firefighting trucks ,the sheriff and a chopper coming.

| Yeah I saw the sirens going off at the entrance of the RR parking lot, then noticed they were down in Corbet a short while later. Hope the person made it out ok.

| No, but I found a rotting sturgeon carcass right in front of my face when I came back to the surface after a crash at Viento yesterday if that counts. NASTY!

yeah that sort of gross almost as gross as slipping on a baby dead sheep those crazy windsurfers sacrificed for wind at Lyle last year  that was truly GROSS
